How does a workshop work?
A workshop is a place where you get together with your team (in UCTA we call this a Language Group) and translate or interpret with other students of the language. The workshop is a comfortable risk-free place where you develop your skills and practice for the real world of translation. When you’re ready, and feel confident with your skills, we offer places where you can go to gain real experience in the community. Your community service accredits you and your team with points that will open doors for your future!
The first thing you need to do is Join UCTA.
After that, you’ll be given access to any language you choose. Once you’ve chosen your language, you’ll then be able to work on a curriculum designed by professional translators.
